BSN preferred. critical care experience preferred.Collects clinical data from referring/accepting MD, hospital staff to aide in accurate pt assessment, safe & timely patient transfer/transport & bed assignment. Coordinates communication between referring/accepting MDs. Interprets various clinical data & interventions relating to transfer & admission. Anticipates problems with changing pt status & bed availability; utilizes expertise to manage situation. Prioritizes & coordinates critical care & other resources. Communicates clearly with MD and all relevant persons for prompt resolution of issues related to patient acceptance & transfer. Demonstrates positive interactions with physicians, customers, transferring hospital staff, & transporting providers. Consistently practices highest customer service behavior to assure highest level of satisfaction with PTC services. Works well and calmly in stressful situations & in team environment. Presents well in front of audiences in marketing and outreach activities
